Soap is water, lye and fats (oils). When the solution of water and lye are mixed with fats the chemical reaction called "saponification" takes place, thus you’ll see in our ingredients list "Saponified Olive Oil." Traditional handmade shaving soaps are made up a weak lye solution from wood ash. Properly made handmade soap has no lye left in it but cannot be made without it.

The main ingredients of our shaving soaps are Olive Oil, Palm Kernel Oils. Olive Oil and Palm Kernel Oil are great for making a creamy, smooth, long lasting lather. What are soaps don't have is synthetic hardeners, surfactants, preservatives. Our all natural handmade shaving soap is certain to please you with pleasing scents and creamy smooth lather.

Handmade shaving soap is rich, moisturizing, soothes and softens the skin. Our soaps may also contain exfoliating oatmeal, seaweed and emollients such as Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Hemp Seed Oil.
